Thank you, Amy! We’re doing a ton of work to the house, so workers are usual. This happened when the workers (and we) were on Christmas holiday. Do come introduce yourself sometime!

Annie, you’ve expressed the sentiment well. We purchased the property to have a safe, happy place and it does feel very violated now.

Pam, thank you for the link! At the very least, we’d like the garden thieves to miss the opportunity to share their newly obtained treasures openly with the garden community (which is an extremely kind and tight bunch from what we’ve seen so far)!

We are saddened by this needless act but are still happy to be joining the Shoalmont & gardening communities!

I am So sorry! I can see your house from my back window…I live on Fiset, and I have noticed people working over there, but haven’t paid much attention, since it seemed legit! Sorry!! I will snoop more!! …and I will stop by and introduce myself!

Checked back to see what happened – sure hope the benches and art are returned to the garden. There’s something especially disjointed when theft occurs in a place designed for and dedicated to peace, love & understanding. Good luck.
